We were approached by an Independent Financial Adviser with a client who had accumulated many different types of investments over the years.
These ranged from structured offshore products, managed funds, individual shares, ISAs, PEPs and large building society deposits.
The client was quiet specific in their expected goals and after reviewing all of the implications with the adviser we were both able to formulate a plan to put to the client. The outcome resulted in the offshore bonds being retained and managed alongside a share portfolio managed within the existing ISAs and PEPs to maintain tax efficiency.
A key advantage is being able to report all the investments in a simple and easy to understand consolidated valuation.
